Nyko is introducing The Wand, what it calls as the most advanced Wii Remote till date. This is to trump the existing Nintendo Wii remote controller. Apart from the look of the Nyko Wand which is the same as a Wii Remote, it can output commands and even vibrate through the controller’s port at the bottom of the device.

Nyko uses the Trans-Port Technology in the Wand which allows compatible devices to take advantage of functionality. This lacks in the current Wii accessories. The Wand has a pistol-like grip allowing full force-feedback. The buttons of 1, 2, +, - can be used without the need of going on top of the remote. The Wand will be shipped in stores in April.
