Wii for Sale

Yeah you heard me. The Nintendo Wii is coming out with colored wrist straps that are funny. Well I shouldn't say Nintendo Wii. It's all those Chinese manufacturers trying to cash in on the Wii craze. Now I wonder how safe these fuzzy wrist straps are.

You know when you have a great product when 3rd party companies start making all sorts of strange accessories. Just look at the Apple Ipod. The strangest things are available for that thing. The same thing is happening to the Wii.

Personally, most of the stuff just gives me a good laugh. Someone is buying it though.

Nintendo just announcd that there will not be a price cut for the Nintendo Wii. This is quite understandable since Wii is selling like hotcakes and will have no problem selling. Wii is also well under the price of the XBOX 360 and the Sony PS3. Both of these other game consoles have cut prices like crazy.

Iwata states that Nintendo is focusing on meeting the booming demand and not thinking about price cuts.

Well, they're right. Most people are still trying to get the console for retail price!

There's a lot of controversy around the Nintendo Wii where people are saying that the Nintendo Wii is going backwards in terms of graphics. Systems like Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 are much more capable of intensive graphics. However, Will Wright thinks prettier graphics doesn't mean it's next gen.

He says that the Nintendo Wii is the only next generation console out of the three today. This is because it appeals to a much broader audience unlike the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 who still cater to the hardcore gamer market.

So maybe the graphics trend will be changed in the future.

Nintendo Wii consoles have been flying off shelves before you can even blink. However, we never really hear about the games that go along with the Nintendo Wii. Well here's your chance to know than your peers. A report at GAF revealed sales data about Wii games.

The reported revealed that the top Nintendo Wii game was Wii Play. This really isn't much of a surprise because it does come with a Wii remote. It sold almost 3 million copies around the world. Some of the other top selling games include Super Paper Mario, and Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree.

It listed Wii Sports in there at almost 12 million. However, it has only sold about 1 million in Japan. Obviously, the bundling with the console in US has contributed to that large number.

I'm incredibly excited by this game. It's coming with the new gun called the Wii Zapper. The videos so far look really great. You can check it out yourself by viewing the trailer below.

The game seems to have a lot of fun games that everyone can enjoy. I'm pretty sure I didn't see any 2 player action which stinks, but oh well. I'm pretty excited though none the less.

Nintendo Wii has done a great job with their new products. It hasn't only been the Nintendo Wii as they have released great consoles and games such as the Nintendo Gamecube, Nintendo DS, and much more.

Now they've hit a record high value as a company. We're talking 10 trillion yen or $85 billion. This means a lot of people have a lot of faith in Nintendo's future. I think the Nintendo Wii is only the beginning in innovative in the gaming industry.

Most people were left out by the hardcore gaming market Sony and Microsoft were trying to get. Now these people see the power in video game consoles for themselves.

Then again, I can't predict the future. We'll just see how it goes!

I always liked to say that the Nintedo Wii for all people. Old people are no exception. I guess I shouldn't say old people... retired?

Anyway, the Nintedo Wii was used at four Erickson retirement communinties in a Wii bowling tournament.

Here's a very interesting piece from ClevelandLeader.com. They say that the Nintendo is being used a tool to help stroke victims. We've all been hearing all the comotion about using the Nintedo Wii for all sorts of uses, but this one is quite interesting.

Doctors say that playing the Nintedo Wii helps rewire the brain after damage. What usually happens in a stroke is that a blood clot damages your brain which causes many abnormalities in behavior. However, the brain is really great at fixing itself so it does. It is important to keep the mind engaged and that's where the Nintedo Wii comes in.

It will intersting to see in the future where the Nintedo Wii Fit comes out. It will probably have even more crazy applications. I'm quite excited about the potential of the Wii and look forward to it.

I just found out that it doesn't look like Nintendo will have enough Wiis for the holidays, which only means you better look for that Wii for sale as soon as possible! Reggie from Nintendo once said there would be plenty of Wiis for the holidays, but has no retracted that statement. In an interview with Mercury News, he says that Wii cannot possibly meet demand and says it's not a production issue. Yeah... I don't know about that.
