Wii for Sale

Nintendo has now found a new way of promoting its Wii Fit. Recently, Gaming blog Kotaku noticed a picture of a Wii Fit kiosk placed in the women’s clothing department at a Wal-Mart store.

Wii Fit is an exercise game for Nintendo’s Wii console that senses the movement of the user through its electronic balance board device and the game gives the feedback on the workout. This kiosk is placed right outside the dressing room so that when you exit after being disheartened that you do not fit in the tried clothes, this moderately expensive piece is right in front of you. So, by this technique, you would feel that a Wii Fit is required to make you in shape and might urge you to buy one.

Rumor is that Pilotwings may be delayed to join the Balance Board and Mii support system. There is an unconfirmed report that Pilotwings may be released somewhere in the first half of 2009. It would be complete with support for the balance board along with Mii as in use.

More than ten years ago, Pilotwings 64 was introduced in this series for the company’s black box. This title was an airborne action-packed series for which a demo was also shown by Nintendo back in 2006. This demo showed snippets of a flying activity with the help of the Wii remote. Thus, the present title to be released could be likely one of the same category.
